Proven, collaborative leadership
As Canada faces new threats globally, Marc Hull-Jacquin wants to put his personal drive, executive experience and national network in service to you, as the Member of Parliament for Beaches-East York.
A long-time Beacher and father of three, Marc has spent his career working for a more equitable society. A nationally recognized social entrepreneur, Marc offers a proven record of creating tangible, positive change, here and across Canada.
In 2016, Marc founded Shelter Movers, a free moving service for women and children fleeing abuse. From the ground up, he recruited volunteers, raised funds and partnered with local businesses so women and children could leave violent relationships safely and in dignity.
10 years later, Shelter Movers is an internationally recognized movement, completing over 10,000 moves for families in need, powered by 1,000 volunteers serving survivors in communities across the country.
Instead of talking about change, Marc creates it.
As MP for Beaches-East York, Marc will bring the same passion and determination, building bridges to deliver real results for our community and our country.
A NEW VISION FOR BEACHES-EAST YORK
BUILDING AN ECONOMY WE CAN AFFORD
As we navigate an unjust trade war that threatens local businesses and drives up our cost of living, Marc will fight for a fairer trading relationship with the United States, support measures to help you keep more of your money in your pocket, and attract investments to Beaches-East York, so good quality jobs stay local.
Because we all deserve an affordable life.
SECURING STABLE, AFFORDABLE HOUSING
The national housing crisis has been growing for decades. For many, safe, affordable housing is the bedrock for stability and healing. Communities know the strategies that best suit their local needs. Marc will advocate for deep investments in affordable housing, supportive housing, and shelters in recognition of the link between housing and mental health outcomes.
Because we all deserve a place to call home.
UNITING FOR OUR MOST VULNERABLE
For many in our country, abuse, poverty and oppression remain a daily threat. In particular, gender-based violence robs families of their future and costs Canadians billions. Marc will engage his extensive network to identify and enable concrete, sustainable solutions that combine lived experience and evidence.
Because we all deserve a chance to thrive.
